Y32 Series Four-Column Hydraulic Press

The RAXMEK Y32 series is designed for heavy-duty industrial pressing. The four-column guided configuration provides a highly stable platform with a large open working space, allowing operators easy access from all four sides for tooling setup, maintenance, and material handling.

High-Rigidity Frame Construction

The upper beam, slide (moving bolster), and lower bolster are fabricated from high-strength Q345B welded steel plates. After welding, the entire structure undergoes thermal stress relief and vibration tempering to eliminate internal stresses, ensuring long-term flatness and alignment under maximum pressing loads.

Four-Pillar Precision Guiding

The four guide columns are made of high-quality forged carbon steel, induction hardened, and finished with a hard chrome-plated surface (minimum thickness 0.05 mm). Self-lubricating guide bushings on the moving slide ensure smooth travel, minimize friction, and maintain precise centering under eccentric loads.

The hydraulic power unit utilizes a two-way cartridge valve manifold block system. By integrating the control valves into a single manifold, the machine eliminates a significant amount of external high-pressure piping, minimizing pressure drops, reducing hydraulic noise, and eliminating potential oil leakage points.

Proportional Flow and Pressure Control

For complex drawing and forming operations, the hydraulic system can be equipped with proportional flow and pressure control valves. This allows the HMI to dynamically adjust the pressing force and speed throughout the stroke cycle, preventing material tearing or wrinkling.

Advanced Decompression and Cooling

An automatic decompression circuit slowly venting the cylinder pressure before the slide returns, protecting the cylinders and sealing elements. An active air or water oil cooling system keeps the oil temperature within the optimal range of 40-48°C.

The machine is operated by a Siemens PLC system integrated with a user-friendly color touch-screen HMI. The operator can easily set, adjust, and monitor parameters including stroke limits, pressure values, and dwell times.

The ram position is monitored in real time by a high-precision linear transducer (LVDT) with an accuracy of ±0.05 mm. Pressure sensors monitor the hydraulic force. Operators can set the machine to operate in 'Constant Stroke' or 'Constant Pressure' modes, ensuring consistent assembly depth or force.

Diagnostic Alarms & Data Logging

The Siemens HMI displays real-time diagnostic information, status alarms, and troubleshooting guides. It can store multiple product recipes, allowing operators to switch between different part setups instantly.

Industrial-Grade Operator Safety Systems

Dual-Hand Control Buttons

To ensure operator safety, the Y32 press requires a dual-hand start sequence. The operator must press and hold two spaced buttons on the console simultaneously to initiate the downward stroke. Releasing either button instantly halts the ram.

Fast-Response Safety Light Curtains

The front working area is protected by premium safety light curtains. If the light barrier is interrupted during the fast-downward approach of the ram, the hydraulic valves are de-energized immediately, stopping the ram in less than 10 milliseconds.

Mechanical Lock-Up & Emergency Stops

The machine features a physical cylinder locking device for maintenance safety. Multiple emergency stop buttons are placed on the mobile console and the main frame for quick access.
