W11 Series Technical Specifications

W11 Series Symmetrical Mechanical 3-Roller Bending Machine

The RAXMEK W11 series represents the industry standard for robust, cost-efficient plate rolling. Designed with a mechanical pyramid configuration, the top roller is positioned in a fixed vertical plane and can be adjusted vertically to control the bending radius, while the two bottom rollers are driven by the main motor and gearbox to feed the plate.

High-Rigidity Frame Construction

The machine frame is fabricated from heavy-duty Q345B welded steel plate, stress-relieved via vibration tempering to ensure long-term structural stability under maximum bending loads. The main bearing housings feature premium spherical roller bearings that withstand high radial forces during heavy-plate forming.

Dual-Drive Lower Rollers

Both lower rollers are actively driven by the main drive system, consisting of a high-torque electric motor, a heavy-duty cycloidal pinwheel reducer, and a spur gear train. This configuration delivers high torque and prevents plate slippage, even when processing smooth or oiled plates.

Premium Forged 42CrMo Alloy Steel Rollers

Heavy-Duty Rollers Designed for Extreme Loads

The rollers are the most critical components of any plate bending machine. RAXMEK rollers are forged from premium 42CrMo alloy steel, rough-turned, and then subjected to a rigorous heat-treatment process.

Induction Hardening (HRC 45-50)

To prevent surface wear, scratching, and deformation when bending high-strength steels, all three rollers undergo surface induction hardening, achieving a hardness depth of 3-5 mm and a hardness of HRC 45-50. The rollers are then finish-ground to a smooth surface, ensuring they do not leave markings on delicate plates.

Crowning for Deflection Compensation

To compensate for natural roller deflection under load, the top roller is engineered with a calculated crown profile. This ensures that the pressure remains uniform across the entire plate width, delivering perfectly straight cylinders without the barrel-shaped distortions common in lower-quality machines.

Manual & Motorized Tilting Drop-End System

Easy Extraction of Formed Cylinders

Once a metal sheet is rolled into a complete cylinder, extracting it from the machine requires releasing one end of the top roller. The W11 series features a mechanical tilting drop-end housing that rotates downward, clearing the path for cylinder removal.

Top Roller Balancing Device

To prevent the top roller from falling when the drop-end is opened, a tail balancing mechanism is integrated at the drive end of the machine. A screw-jack or hydraulic cylinder presses down on the extended tail of the top roller, locking it in a stable horizontal position so the operator can safely slide the finished workpiece off the roll.

Safety Interlock Switches

A mechanical and electrical safety interlock prevents the machine from rotating or adjusting the rollers while the drop-end is open. This protects both the operator and the machine's mechanical components from accidental damage.

Heavy-Duty Drive Train & Schneider Electricals

Efficient Mechanical Drive Transmission

The lower rollers are driven by a high-efficiency Siemens IE3 motor coupled with a heavy-duty cycloidal reducer. The torque is transmitted to the rollers through a hardened spur gear drive train, minimizing energy loss and maximizing torque transmission to the plate.

Premium Electrical Protection

All electrical components are housed in an IP55-rated dustproof control cabinet. We use premium Schneider Electric contactors, relays, and Siemens circuit breakers to ensure reliable operation in harsh workshop environments.

Dual-Pedal Foot Console

A mobile control console equipped with dual foot pedals allows the operator to control the forward and reverse rotation of the rollers while keeping their hands free to guide the plate. An integrated emergency stop button provides immediate power cutoff.
